The Chinese Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) has released a list of 91 “low-toxicity, low-residue”pesticides, to promote the quality and safety of agricultural products. The 91 pesticides are chosen from over 700 registered pesticides in China, covering 40 fungicides (44% of the total), 29 insecticides (32%),15 herbicides (16%)and 7plant growth regulators (8%). 

“The list is not only a guide for growers, but also can be refered by Chinese pesticide companies that are seeking to develop new pesticides,” the MOA notes.
