Stability: Soluble in water 700mg/L, in benzene 50%, in acetone 30.9%, in ethanol 29%, in toluene 25%, in carbon tetrachloride 14.8%, at 20°C. Easy decompose being heated in acid or alkali conditions under room temperature.

Uses: It is selective pre-emergence amide-type herbicide, used to control annual grass weeds and some broad-leaved weeds in rice, cotton, corn, peanuts, sugar cane, rapeseed and legume crops fields, such as Echinochloa crus-galli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Setaria, wild oats, amaranth, quinoa, purslane, grass, etc.
