Penconazole 10% EC

Introduction

Penconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide with preventive and curative properties for the control of powdery mildew. It stops the development of fungi by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols in cell membranes. It is used on fruit, especially apples and grapes, and vegetables.

Appearance: Light yellow and viscous liquid.
Melting Point:136°C
Vapour Pressure: 0.133 mPa at 25°C.
Stability: Stable in water 70 mg/L at 20°C, easy solves in organic solvents. Stable under below 320°C; under the sunlight and stable in acid, alkali media.
Toxicity: Oral LD50 (Rat)>2,125 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 (Rabbit) >3,000 mg/kg. Inhatation LC50: (4 h.) 4mg/l.
Specification: 97%TC,20%EW,10%EC.
Uses: It is used to kill powdery mildew and basidiomycetes, deuteromycetes; especially widely used in pumpkin, grape and pome.
