Apr. 28, 2015 Source:AgroPages.com****** According to National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), China’s agrochemical production increased by 0.04% in March 2015 to 313.08 thousand tons, versus the same period of last year. For the first three-month of 2015, pesticide production increased by 0.02% to 890.57 thousand tons y-o-y. In March, herbicides production recorded an increase of 0.09% to 152.83 thousand tons, accounting for 49% of the total, while insecticide production increased by 0.26% to 42.36 thousand tons, making up 14% of the total. The production of fungicide was 17.26 thousand tons, up by 0.05%, representing 5% of the total. From January to March, herbicide production increased by 0.1% to 474.40 thousand tons, making up 53% of the total production. Insecticide was down 0.3% to 118.30 thousand tons, representing 13% of the total production volume. Fungicide grew 0.05% to 47.12 thousand tons, accounting for 6% of the total production volume.
